I spent today at IKEA, with a friend, shopping for the needs for my room. (I don't think I ever mentioned it but I'm going to be painting my room, and with the paint comes a bunch of new decor as i get rid of off the barbie dolls and stuffed animals from ten years ago.)
Anyways, we started off for the store at 9:30 am and got there around 12:00pm and we shopped around the store looking for things that might go with my room. We found $304 worth of things, including new food bowls for the cats, a futon/chair, a lamp, a table, rugs, a bed frame, and some shelves.
My friend was also looking for stuff but she couldn't find anything she really wanted. But we had a good time.
One thing that made my day was when one of the workers was getting lunch, as we were waiting for our food, grabbed a bread roll but then dropped it. He quickly grabbed another one from the bread bucket and looked around before picking up the one on the floor. After looking around for somewhere to put the bread but finding no where, he quickly put the roll in his shirt pocket and bluntly said "I'm saving it for later." I guess you just had to be there.
