    HNY!

    Happy New Year!

So, what's your resolution? Think about it if you don't know.
Take the following as an example.(I found them on the the web.)

    1. I will not cancel my membership at the gym. As soon as I remember how to get there, I'll go every single day.
    2. I will stop using my treadmill as an extra closet (oooh, so that's where that blouse went!) and use it for the purpose for which it was designed, as soon as I remember what that is....
    3. I will find those dumbbells I bought last year (maybe they're under the closet...er...treadmill) and use them for more than paperweights.
    4. I will not sneer at the aerobics instructor and his or her ultra-perky voice and fat-less body. Rather I will use him or her as motivation.
    5. I will get up every morning to exercise instead of waiting until after work when I inevitably will find a reason not to go to the gym.
    6. I will not eat any more sweets at work, no matter who's birthday is or how good that chocolate cake looks. In fact, I'm never eating sweets again!
    7. I will cook healthy meals every night and calculate my calories so I know exactly what I'm eating. I will begin using tofu and making my own rice.
    8. I will do a hundred crunches a day...no, TWO hundred!
    9. I will stop consumption of all alcoholic beverages...as soon as I finish this beer.
    10. I will strengthen my relationships by getting my friends/family to exercise with me (as soon as they stop laughing.)

See! It could be anything. I just want to know how long #6 and #8 will survive! I also found this great comic from "Non Sequitur." Check it out below.

(If you can't read it, it says: "Don't mess with perfesion")

Well you're probably wondering what my resolution is. Well, it's to put more effort into the things I love. So Happy New Year everyone! The old grump has his final rest in his grave; the baby of life anew has come.

    In the making.....

O.K., remember when you were little. Around this time of year wouldn't your mom be making and sending out Christmas cards? Wouldn't she always have a cute picture of you as a baby, or just one of the whole family with the card? Well, I was in charge of the Christmas cards this year -dread-. And of course I wanted something cute that at the same time would look nice! So I torchered my rabbit. I know, such a terrible thing! And he fought back. But before I go on I must tell more about him........(this is going to be a long post!)

His name is Beowulf, he's a broken blue Polish rabbit. Always cureeus and adorilbe! He likes to
run away, eat things he shouldn't, go to the bathroom every where, carrots, brocliy, and his all time favorite, BANNANA!

    So cute!

Any ways, in the making of the Christmas card, he got really mad at me for using him as a modle. And he tried to eat the ribbon...icky. O.k., not really but when he gets mad at something he trys to destroy it by using his small chompers.

But after about five temper tantroms from Beowulf we finely got a good picture out of him! And it went on our Christmas card.... So Merry Christmas one and all!

    LiveLove Tour

Superchick, Sanctus Real, Last Tuesday, and John Reuben. All the great Christian rock artists in one concert. The LiveLove Tour!
It was awesome! I went to their tour last Saturday and my ears are still ringing! I went mostly because of Sanctus Real, my favorite band. I've learn may of their songs on my guitar.
The only thing is that I forgot my camera... And I'm consantly hitting my self about it. NO PICTURES! And this was like once in a life time thing! Why do I always have to forget things?!
I got to meet Superchick and Sanctus Real, which was really cool. I got my t-shirt signed by Sanctus and my CD signed my Superchick.
I'm so mad...I didn't bring my camera! I could have had pictures with Sanctus!
So I'm miserable for the most part, but at least I got to see them!

    Snow?

It's all covered in snow!!! Friday was a snow day (-happy dance-), so I hung around the house doing things, trying to get some friends together to go sledding in The Valley.

The Valley: n 1. A great dip in the earth making a bowl shape stuck in the ground. 2. The Valley is the valley that is near to wear Quill lives.

(Ok, as you can see I didn’t really get those out of a dictionary, but if I did it would be pretty funny!)

So yeah, it’s a winter wonderland up here in the north parts of America. It’s really cold and I’m crazy enough to go around wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

My Dad met some people from down south, around Texas, and it was about 45-50 degrees (Fahrenheit) and they’re walking along the road in winter coast, like four pares of pants, three scarves (each), and a hat and ear muffs! And I’m in a T-SHIRT! It’s warm in the winter when it’s in the 50’s! But now all the heat has gone… And we haven’t got our fire place up yet! So mad… Oh well.
